The Urban Air Southcenter location is currently seeking dedicated Café Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) Team Members to join their food and beverage service team. This role offers a competitive wage of $21.65 per hour, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced hospitality environments and enjoy interacting with guests. Team Members at Urban Air’s café are integral to delivering an exceptional guest experience. The position involves a variety of responsibilities including preparing, cooking, and serving food and beverages, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of both kitchen and service areas. Employees must demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and efficiency to meet the high-volume demands of the park’s busy food service operations.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly and engaging personality, and the ability to multitask and work well within a team setting. They must be comfortable working in a dynamic, noisy environment and capable of lifting up to 30 pounds as part of their daily duties. The role requires compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food preparation guidelines and cleanliness standards. Candidates with prior experience in quick service or restaurant settings, along with food safety certifications such as ServSafe, are preferred but not mandatory.

Job Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
- previous restaurant or quick service experience preferred
- basic math skills of adding and subtracting required
- ServSafe or similar food handling certification preferred
- good communication skills
- ability to work under pressure

Job Duties
- Demonstrate the highest standards of guest relations and care when assisting guests at the counter
- give advice, guidance and recommendations on products and menu selection to guests to ensure a positive experience and repeat business
- ensure adequate stock levels of supplies and consumables for the café area
- manage queues and exceed guest expectations
- upsell to maximize profit
- keep café and surrounding areas tidy and clean including table clearing, washing dishes, and taking out the trash
- handle guest complaints in the first instance and report feedback to the leadership team
- work within established guidelines and operating procedures
- measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
- properly cook and store food items at appropriate temperatures
- rotate stock items as per established procedure
- ensure compliance with all health code regulations
- maintain clear, well-organized kitchen and storage areas
- participate in regular staff meetings and training as required
- perform other duties as assigned by leadership
