We are currently seeking a positive and motivated team member to join our dynamic dealership team. This role involves preparing and cooking food items to the highest standards to ensure an exceptional experience for our customers. The position requires someone who is organized, efficient, and committed to maintaining strict food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures. The ideal candidate will work closely with the kitchen and café to uphold the quality and cleanliness that reflects the dealership’s luxury brand. This is a full-time position requiring availability Monday through Saturday.

This role is vital in contributing to the overall customer experience at Fields by ensuring that food preparation runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting both front of house and kitchen operations. The successful candidate will take ownership of their workspace by setting up workstations, preparing ingredients, cooking food using various utensils and techniques, and ensuring every dish meets the presentation standards before serving. Keeping the kitchen organized and sanitized is a key responsibility, as well as monitoring food stock levels and placing orders to prevent shortages. This collaborative environment demands a team player who possesses excellent communication skills and physical stamina to manage the demands of the kitchen.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as cook
  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Very good communication skills
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as cook
  • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Very good communication skills
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
  • Cook food in various utensils or grills
  • Check food while cooking to stir or turn
  • Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Check quality of ingredients
  • Wash dishes
  • Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
