The University of Denver is currently hiring both full-time and part-time Café Team Members to join its vibrant campus café team, operated by Sodexo. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment where versatility and motivation are valued. As a Café Team Member, you’ll be cross-trained to perform a variety of duties essential for the smooth operation of the café. This position involves food preparation, crafting espresso drinks, guest assistance, and general support tasks. The role requires working Sunday through Thursday from 1 pm to 9 pm, with pay ranging from $18.81 to $24.70 per hour depending on experience and responsibilities.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work Sunday through Thursday from 1pm to 9pm
- availability for full-time or part-time shifts
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- willingness to learn and be cross-trained in multiple café duties
- adherence to food safety standards
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced setting
- basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- assemble sandwiches, salads, and hot meals while maintaining food safety standards
- prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and teas with consistency and care
- greet guests, assist with orders, and handle transactions accurately
- restock supplies, maintain cleanliness, and assist with opening/closing procedures
- rotate through all areas to support café operations
- maintain a collaborative and efficient work environment
