Employees are responsible for operating cash and credit card payment systems accurately and managing transaction records and daily deposits while adhering strictly to company protocols for secure cash handling.

In addition to beverage preparation and customer service, Cafe Barista Crews handle the setup and breakdown of coffee bars and service zones, maintain cleanliness by regularly sanitizing equipment and surfaces, and monitor inventory levels to restock necessary items like beverage coolers and grab-and-go products. Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards is crucial to ensure both guest safety and product quality. Physical demands of the job may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods, with the possible requirement of personal protective equipment for certain tasks. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior customer service experience is recommended
  • experience handling cash is preferred
  • food handling certification is required
  • basic proficiency in English reading and communication
  • ability to adhere to dress code requirements
  • physical ability to perform tasks including lifting bending pushing pulling and standing for extended periods
  • willingness to use personal protective equipment as required
  • ability to operate autonomously with minimal supervision

Job Qualifications

  • Prior customer service experience is recommended
  • experience in handling cash is preferred
  • basic arithmetic and numerical counting skills

Job Duties

  • Accurately process cash and credit card payments using the register or POS system
  • welcome and assist clients proactively anticipating their needs to ensure a high-quality service encounter
  • craft and serve coffee tea and specialty beverages in strict accordance with brand standards
  • prepare and present food items that consistently meet the facility's quality expectations
  • balance the cash drawer maintain accurate transaction records and manage daily deposits
  • strictly comply with all Aramark protocols and regulations regarding secure cash handling
  • handle the setup and breakdown of the coffee bar and service zones to maintain a clean and organized environment
  • ensure the workspace remains hygienic by regularly cleaning and sanitizing all equipment and surfaces
  • monitor inventory and restock beverage coolers grab-and-go items tableware and condiments
  • follow all food and beverage preparation safety standards to ensure high levels of sanitation and guest safety
  • execute additional duties and diverse assignments as directed by the management team
