Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Experience handling cash transactions
- Ability to prepare coffee and specialty beverages
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand and move for long periods
- Basic math proficiency
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Food handling certification or willingness to obtain
- Compliance with company dress code
- Physical ability to perform work tasks including lifting and bending
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred
- Prior cash handling experience advantageous
- Previous barista experience preferred but not compulsory
- Basic math skills with accurate counting ability
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient English reading and communication skills
- Ability to follow recipes and brand guidelines
- Food handling certification obtained as per standards
- Ability to comply with required attire guidelines
- Capability to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing
- Willingness to use personal protective equipment (PPE) when needed
Job Duties
- Manage cash and credit card transactions by operating a register/POS system accurately
- Welcome and assist customers, anticipating their needs to create a positive experience
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks in accordance with brand standards
- Prepare and serve food items following location standards and food safety guidelines
- Maintain the cash drawer, complete cashier documentation, and process bank deposits efficiently
- Set up and dismantle coffee bar and stations, ensuring cleanliness and organized presentation
- Regularly sanitize equipment and maintain a clean, hygienic work area
- Stock beverage coolers, snacks, service items, and condiments
- Adhere to food and drink preparation guidelines to uphold sanitary practices
- Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by managers
