Job Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe Food Manager Certification
- At least 4 years of relevant food service experience
- Culinary school graduate preferred
- Ability to work Sundays and Wednesday nights as required
- Membership and regular attendance at Calvary Chapel Melbourne
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to church values and statement of faith
Job Qualifications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Hold a ServSafe Food Manager Certification
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the food service industry
- Graduate from culinary school with leadership experience
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in team situations as well as independently
- Organization, administrative and leadership skills
- Social perceptiveness with Godly discernment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Calvary Chapel Melbourne must be your home church with regular attendance
- Keep the ministry in the forefront of all you do, with a servant heart and optimistic attitude
- Conduct yourself in a manner that reinforces the core values and mission of Calvary Chapel and agree to the Statement of Faith

Job Duties
- Manage back-of-house inventory
- Coordinate catering events alongside the Director, overseeing food production and catering
- Write prep sheets for each department to ensure assigned tasks are completed
- Collaborate with staff on daily tasks
- Oversee produce and cookie orders
- Manage the Blend Scheduling app for BOH employees
- Communicate with vendors, including placing orders and handling invoices
- Maintain kitchen equipment
- Ensure standardized recipes are followed for all preparations
- Keep a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with food safety regulations
- Communicate any new information to the Director of Food Services as it arises
- Write and communicate daily specials to FOH staff
- Supervise the production and service of school lunches
- Conduct end-of-month inventory
- Monitor food costs to maintain levels between 38-40%
- Function as a productive member of the church staff and attend staff meetings in coordination with your direct supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor
