Job Requirements
- Minimum 16 years of age
- basic math skills

- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for the duration of the shift
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to work in variable temperatures and confined or narrow spaces
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years of age
- previous food and beverage experience preferred but not required
- basic math skills with ability to accurately account for inventory
- effective communication skills with ability to communicate with guests and receive orders
- ability to work effectively with others
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Serves food and beverage items in correct proportions following proper sanitation guidelines
- prepares and sells smoothies and coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques
- prepares and serves food menu items
- records all waste on required reports
- participates in the setup of the cafe, arranges inventory, and notifies the supervisor of any inventory deficiency or shortages
- performs clean-up duties in the cafe to maintain quality appearance of the work area including cleaning equipment, mopping floors, and dusting
- properly records all transactions via the point-of-sale system and informs guests of amounts owed
- collects proper payment for food and beverage items and processes credit cards
