The role of Food Service Attendant at KitchFix is integral to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, presentation, and client hospitality within a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting an elite sports team. This position requires a meticulous individual dedicated to creating an inviting and organized food service area. Responsibilities include ensuring cleanliness, restocking supplies, assisting the back-of-house kitchen team, monitoring food safety by checking temperatures, and maintaining proper food storage practices. The position demands excellent interpersonal skills to uphold professional and courteous interaction with the high-profile clients — the Tampa Bay Rays players and staff — alongside the ability to anticipate and fulfill client needs proactively.

Candidates must be comfortable working early morning shifts starting at 5:00 AM, including weekends, and have the physical capability to perform standing tasks for prolonged periods, lift heavy items, and work in varying temperature conditions. Preferable experience includes prior customer service excellence, kitchen exposure, knowledge of nutrition related to athlete performance, and banquet or catering experience. Attention to detail and a service-first attitude are paramount to succeed in this role. Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform the physical demands must be able to work standing up for 10-12 hours ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds push a cart up to 200 pounds withstand high temperature conditions bend kneel and stoop
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Food handlers certification

Job Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years customer service experience
  • Back of the house kitchen experience preferred
  • Understanding of nutrition and performance based food preferred
  • Banquet or catering serving experience preferred
  • Excellent hospitality skills professional demeanor and a service-first attitude
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to anticipate client needs and fulfill them
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment safe sanitary practices and culinary skills

Job Duties

  • Provide best in class hospitality for high-profile clients including excellent manners and interpersonal skills
  • Manage exceptional visual presentation and cleanliness in food service area
  • Sweep mop scrub as needed and clean floors shelves surfaces equipment etc
  • Check and refill all supplies that clients use daily
  • Assist kitchen and BOH as needed including prep work and dishwashing
  • Communicate all needs through the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
  • Ensure dining area is clean organized and well-stocked
  • Cover and date food when storing to ensure freshness and safety
  • Ensure hot food temperatures are within safe range and record temps
