Courtyard by Marriott New Orleans French Quarter/Iberville located at 910 Iberville St, New Orleans, Louisiana, is part of the renowned Marriott International portfolio, a global leader in the hospitality industry. Marriott International is dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences and fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. The Courtyard brand is specially designed to meet the needs of business travelers while offering a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for all guests. This full-time, non-management position embodies Marriott's commitment to excellence, professionalism, and guest satisfaction, situated in one of the most vibrant cultural hubs in the United States.

The role of Guest Service Expert at the Courtyard by Marriott New Orleans French Quarter/Iberville is far more than just serving food or beverages. The primary mission is to create a memorable and unique experience that extends beyond dining. As a Guest Service Expert, you take the initiative in delivering a variety of services aimed at enhancing the guest’s overall experience. This involves setting tables, liaising with the kitchen, interacting directly with guests to fulfill their needs, and ensuring cleanliness in work and storage areas. The position requires dynamic engagement with guests and constant movement throughout the venue.

Key to success in this role is maintaining a safe work environment by adhering strictly to company guidelines and procedures. The Guest Service Expert must uphold quality standards while ensuring their appearance, uniform, and communication maintain a professional image. This job is physically active and involves standing, sitting intermittently, walking across varying surfaces including inclined or slippery floors. It also includes reading and verifying menus, and performing tasks that involve lifting, moving, or pushing objects weighing less than 50 pounds independently. Flexibility and the ability to perform physical activities such as bending knees, twisting, stretching, and stooping are essential.

Working at Courtyard means being part of a team that continuously strives to exceed guest expectations while promoting a safe, professional, and energetic work atmosphere. The hotel embraces cultural diversity and fosters an environment where employees from varied backgrounds and experiences can thrive. Marriott International’s dedication to equality and non-discrimination ensures that every team member is valued and empowered to perform their best. Joining Courtyard offers an opportunity to work alongside a small, ambitious, and supportive team passionate about hospitality and guest satisfaction.

This position especially suits individuals who enjoy learning and growing in a dynamic field, take pride in delivering top-tier service, and who find joy in contributing to a brand synonymous with quality and excellence in hospitality worldwide.
