Job Description
Sam's Club is a leading membership warehouse club that offers a wide range of high-quality merchandise and services to its members. As a division of Walmart Inc., Sam's Club operates numerous locations across the United States, providing products in categories such as groceries, electronics, home goods, and prepared foods at competitive prices in a warehouse-style shopping environment. Known for its commitment to member satisfaction, innovative shopping solutions, and a strong community presence, Sam's Club prides itself on creating rewarding jobs and growth opportunities for associates. The company places a high value on teamwork, integrity, and leadership development, making it an attractive employer in the retail sector.
This particular role at Sam's Club is focused on the prepared foods team, where being both a product expert and a customer service excellence champion are essential attributes. The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $25.00, with additional premiums that may be earned based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. As a prepared foods associate, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with precise product specifications and adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards. A critical part of the role includes using modern digital tools to enhance sales, improve the shopper experience, and empower team members. The role also requires collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to educate and assist associates, manage inventory, and execute seasonal production planning.
Beyond operational duties, this position encourages associates to take ownership of their work area by maintaining quality control, managing waste, rotating merchandise, and providing exceptional member service by assisting with purchases and resolving concerns. As a talent ambassador, you will represent the Sam's Club brand by fostering a supportive and respectful team culture, mentoring coworkers, and helping navigate workplace challenges. Associates are also expected to comply rigorously with company policies and ethics, contributing to a safe and inclusive environment.
Sam's Club supports its associates by offering comprehensive health benefits including medical, vision, and dental coverage, as well as financial benefits such as 401(k), stock purchase options, and company-paid life insurance. In addition, associates receive paid time off benefits encompassing parental and family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting. Other valuable benefits include short-term and long-term disability coverage, company discounts, military leave pay, adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, and education assistance through the Live Better U program. This tuition-free program enables associates to pursue education from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees and certificates, significantly enhancing career development opportunities.
This role is located at 5600 Landers Rd, North Little Rock, AR 72117, United States. Sam's Club is committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace with a strict no-tolerance policy toward illegal drugs and alcohol use to ensure a safe, productive environment for all team members. By joining Sam's Club as a prepared foods associate, you become part of a dynamic retail environment that values innovation, teamwork, and the professional growth of its associates, all while delivering outstanding experiences to its members.
