The role being offered is that of a Prepared Food Associate located at the Montgomery, AL club. This position is a full-time or part-time opportunity with an hourly wage range from $17.00 to $25.00, which meets or exceeds the minimum wage standards applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may also be provided based on specific work performed, schedule, season, or facility. The Prepared Food Associate plays a vital role in both product preparation and customer service, ensuring food safety, quality, and member satisfaction. The associate will maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various operational tasks.
Responsibilities include preparing food according to item specifications and managing production planning to meet seasonality and mass production needs. Adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management are critical components of this role. Additionally, the associate will leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experiences, and enhance team engagement, utilizing handheld technology for efficient production, ordering, receiving, training, and quality control decisions. This position also emphasizes ownership of the performance of the department, including stocking, rotating merchandise, ensuring quality controls, eliminating waste, and delivering excellent member service. Associates will engage with members by acknowledging them, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues professionally.
