Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- able to successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
- comply with company policies and procedures
- maintain a drug-free workplace
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- capable of lifting moderate weight as required
- effective communication skills
- basic math skills.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or retail preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to operate food preparation equipment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- proficiency in using digital tools and technology
- customer service experience
- ability to follow safety and quality control procedures
- willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
- food safety certification preferred
- food handler certification preferred.
Job Duties
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- collaborate with cross-functional teams and help educate associates on tools, tasks and resources
- communicate effectively with team members
- be flexible to business needs and work in other areas
- prepare food according to item specifications
- plan future productions and mass productions
- prepare for seasonality
- adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution
- leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
- utilize hand-held technology for production decisions, ordering, receiving, training, and product quality
- adapt to new tools and encourage usage
- drive area performance by stocking and rotating merchandise
- ensure quality and date control standards
- eliminate waste
- provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs
- assist members with purchasing decisions and payment types
- locate merchandise
- resolve member issues and concerns
- be a brand advocate
- develop and inspire others with respectful and supportive teamwork
- understand roadblocks and assist in training
- comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics
- complete work assignments by collaborating and communicating with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners
- identify priorities and deadlines
