You will prepare food according to item specifications, plan for future and mass productions, and support seasonal demands. Adherence to strict food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and inventory management are essential components of this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for operating and sanitizing equipment, thereby ensuring an optimal food presentation and quality.

Utilizing digital tools is a critical part of the job, as these technologies are employed to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and improve associate engagement. You will make business decisions instantly using handheld technology related to production, ordering merchandise, and managing quality, always with the member's satisfaction in mind. The role requires flexibility to adapt to new tools and actively encourage others to embrace technological advancements.

Ownership in this position includes driving performance in your assigned area, managing merchandise stocking and rotation, ensuring product quality and date control, and minimizing waste. Serving members by acknowledging and assisting them with purchasing decisions, processing payments, locating merchandise, and resolving issues is a vital responsibility. You will also act as a talent ambassador, advocating for the brand, motivating colleagues, and fostering a respectful and supportive team atmosphere.

Compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards are mandatory. You will implement action plans, utilize open communication policies, and collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners to complete assignments and meet business goals. Effective communication, prioritization of tasks, and the ability to adapt to change and feedback will be key traits for success in this role.

Sam's Club offers competitive pay ranging from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, with additional compensation through premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
