Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age or older
- successful completion of all required job training and assessments within prescribed time
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- willingness to work flexible hours and in different areas as needed
- compliance with company policies and drug-free workplace standards
- capability to use handheld technology and digital tools effectively
- physical ability to perform food preparation and merchandising tasks
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- food safety certification preferred
- food handler certification (food safety) preferred
- prior experience in food service or retail preferred
- basic knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
- ability to operate and maintain food service equipment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- adaptability to changing work environments and schedules
Job Duties
- maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- collaborates with cross-functional teams and educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- communicates effectively with team members and adapts to business needs by working in various areas
- prepares food according to item specifications following food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- plans for future and mass production, including seasonal preparation
- manages inventory, operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- uses digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
- utilizes handheld technology for production decisions, ordering, receiving, training, and quality control
- drives area performance by stocking and rotating merchandise and ensuring quality and date control standards
- provides member service by acknowledging members, assisting with purchasing decisions and payment types, and resolving member issues
- acts as a brand ambassador promoting respectful, supportive, and team-oriented work style
- complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards
- completes assignments using policies, data, and resources while collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers
- adapts and learns from change, feedback, and challenges
