Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed time periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
- Willingness to comply with company policies, including drug-free workplace regulations
- Physical capability to perform duties involving standing, lifting, and equipment handling
- Availability to work flexible hours and adapt to business needs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food safety certification preferred
- Food handler certification preferred
- Experience in food service preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency with digital tools and adaptable to new technology
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
- Ability to plan production and manage inventory
Job Duties
- Be a team member by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- Communicate effectively with team members and adapt to business needs by working in different areas
- Prepare food according to item specifications, plan future and mass productions, and prepare for seasonality
- Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management, and maintain and sanitize equipment
- Utilize digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and make immediate business decisions related to production and merchandise ordering
- Drive area performance by stocking and rotating merchandise, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, providing member service including acknowledging members and assisting with purchasing decisions
- Act as a brand advocate and talent ambassador by developing, influencing, and inspiring others while supporting team-oriented work styles
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by executing business processes, collaborating with managers and partners, and adapting to feedback and change
