The role being offered is for a Prepared Food Team Member at a Sam's Club facility located in Oxnard, California. This position is full-time or part-time and offers an hourly wage range from $19.00 to $27.00, along with performance-based incentives and numerous employee benefits. The Team Member will be an integral part of the prepared food merchandising team, responsible for maintaining product knowledge, planning and preparing food items according to specifications, ensuring food safety compliance, and providing exceptional member service.

Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to educate associates and support the business's needs by working in various areas when required. The Team Member acts as an expert in food preparation, managing seasonal production planning, operating and sanitizing equipment, adhering to stringent safety, sanitation, and cold chain standards, and controlling inventory to minimize waste. Technological proficiency is essential, as the role involves using handheld and digital tools to enhance sales, make real-time production decisions, process orders, and improve member and associate experiences.

Additionally, the role emphasizes ownership and accountability by driving merchandise performance, ensuring quality and date control, stocking and rotating products properly, and assisting members with their purchasing decisions and inquiries.
