Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Successful completion of all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period
- Ability to comply with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- Capable of working flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to understand and execute product specifications
- Physically able to perform tasks related to food preparation and equipment use
- Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
- Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to use handheld technology for business operations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards preferred
- Experience in food preparation or retail food service preferred
- Food safety certification is a plus
- Food handler certification is preferred
- Ability to leverage digital tools and technology
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Willingness to adapt and learn in a dynamic environment
Job Duties
- Be a team member by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources
- Communicate effectively with the members of the team
- Be flexible to the needs of the business and work in other areas
- Prepare food according to item specifications
- Understand and plan future productions and mass productions
- Prepare for seasonality
- Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- Demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
- Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions
- Drive the performance of the area by stocking and rotating merchandise
- Ensure quality and date control standards
- Eliminate waste
- Provide member service by acknowledging members and assisting with purchasing decisions
- Resolve member issues and concerns
- Be a talent ambassador by developing, influencing, and inspiring others
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Complete work assignments using policies, data, and resources
- Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners
