Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

- food safety certification preferred
- food handler certification preferred
- ability to communicate effectively

- understanding of food preparation and safety standards

Job Duties
- maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources
- communicate effectively with team members
- be flexible to work in other areas as needed
- prepare food according to item specifications
- plan for future and mass productions including seasonality
- adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance and inventory management
- operate, maintain and sanitize equipment
- demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution
- leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience and elevate associate engagement
- use handheld technology for production, ordering, receiving, training and quality control
- drive performance of the prepared food area including stocking, rotating merchandise and ensuring quality and date control standards
- eliminate waste and provide member service by acknowledging members and assisting with purchasing decisions
- resolve member issues and concerns
- act as a brand advocate by developing, influencing, and inspiring others
- comply with company policies, procedures and ethics standards
- complete work assignments using policies, data and resources
- collaborate with managers, co-workers and other business partners
- identify priorities, deadlines and expectations
- communicate progress and recommend improvements
- adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback
