Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work varying shifts and flexible hours as needed
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and members
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food safety certification preferred
- Food handler certification (food safety) preferred
- Experience in food service or prepared foods preferred
- Ability to operate and maintain food preparation equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources
- Communicate effectively with members of the team
- Be flexible to the needs of the business and work in other areas
- Prepare food according to item specifications
- Plan future productions and mass productions including seasonal preparations
- Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
- Manage inventory
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- Demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
- Utilize handheld technology for business decisions related to production, ordering, receiving orders, training, and quality with the member in mind
- Adapt to new tools and encourage their use among others
- Drive performance of the area, stock and rotate merchandise
- Ensure quality and date control standards
- Eliminate waste
- Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
- Assist members with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise
- Resolve member issues and concerns
- Act as a brand advocate
- Develop, influence and inspire others
- Be respectful, supportive and team oriented
- Understand roadblocks and assist in training team members
- Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics and integrity standards
- Complete work assignments using policies, data and resources
- Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners
- Identify priorities, deadlines and expectations
- Communicate progress and information
- Recommend ways to address improvement opportunities
- Adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback
