Job Duties
- maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- collaborate with cross-functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- communicate effectively with team members and be flexible to work in other areas as needed
- prepare food according to item specifications, plan for future and mass productions, and prepare for seasonality
- adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution
- leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
- use handheld technology for business decisions related to production, ordering, receiving, training, and product quality
- drive performance of the area by stocking and rotating merchandise, ensuring quality and date control standards, and eliminating waste
- provide member service by acknowledging members, assisting with purchasing decisions, handling payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues
- act as a brand advocate and talent ambassador by developing, influencing, and inspiring others to work respectfully and team-oriented
- understand roadblocks and assist in training
- comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards
- complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers
- identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations
- communicate progress and recommend improvements
