Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- successful completion of all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period upon employment
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- compliance with company drug-free workplace policy
- ability to use digital tools and handheld technology
- willingness to work in multiple departments as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior food service experience preferred
- food safety certification preferred
- food handler certification preferred
- ability to operate food service equipment
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- basic knowledge of food preparation and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources
- communicates effectively with the members of the team
- is flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas
- prepares food according to item specifications
- understands and plans for future productions and mass productions
- prepares for seasonality
- adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- demonstrates an understanding of product and layout execution
- leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
- utilizes handheld technology for production, ordering, receiving, training, and product quality
- adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them
- drives area performance by stocking and rotating merchandise
- ensures quality and date control standards
- eliminates waste
- provides member service by acknowledging and assisting members
- resolves member issues and concerns
- acts as a brand advocate
- develops, influences and inspires others in a respectful and supportive manner
- complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- completes work assignments using resources and collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers and partners
- identifies priorities, deadlines and expectations
- communicates progress and recommends improvements
