Known for its commitment to quality, value, and excellent customer service, Sam's Club operates clubs across the United States and provides innovative shopping experiences to its members. As a part of Walmart Inc., it benefits from comprehensive support systems and a strong corporate culture focused on diversity, sustainability, and employee growth. The company has a reputation for fostering a collaborative environment where employees are empowered to grow their skills and develop their careers. At Sam's Club, associates are valued team members who contribute to the overall success of the business.

This position is for a Prepared Food Team Member located at 300 Eubank Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. The employment type is hourly wage-based, with pay ranging from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, subject to location-based minimum wage requirements, plus additional premiums based on work conditions, schedules, or seasons. This role offers competitive pay as well as performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being of employees and their families.

As a Prepared Food Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality prepared foods through efficient production, expert product knowledge, and exceptional member service. You will leverage handheld devices to make immediate business decisions, handle merchandise ordering, process club pick-up orders, and ensure training standards are met, all with the member's satisfaction in mind.

Ownership and responsibility are emphasized in this position. You will be accountable for driving the performance of your department, including stocking, rotating merchandise, and managing quality and date control to minimize waste. Member service is a priority; you will greet members, assist them with product choices, resolve concerns, and enhance their shopping experience.

Additionally, as a Talent Ambassador, you will represent the Sam's Club brand by fostering a respectful and supportive team environment. You will be involved in developing and inspiring your peers, helping to overcome obstacles, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

The company’s commitment to ethics and integrity is reflected in mandatory policies and procedures such as the Open Door Policy. You will be expected to collaborate effectively, prioritize assignments, communicate progress and challenges, and adapt to changes and feedback in your daily work.

Sam's Club also offers Live Better U, a fully company-paid education benefit for associates seeking high school completion, bachelor degrees, and short-form certificates, including English Language Learning programs. This investment in employee education reflects Sam's Club's dedication to career growth and individual development. The excellent benefits package includes medical, vision, and dental coverage; 401(k) plans; stock purchase options; paid time off including parental leave and family care leave; and other supportive programs like adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement and military leave pay.
