Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or retail environments preferred
- Food Safety Certification preferred
- Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to use digital tools and technology effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to manage inventory and equipment maintenance
- Customer service skills and ability to resolve member issues
- Flexibility to work in various areas as business needs require
Job Duties
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge related to prepared food merchandise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate other associates
- Communicate effectively with team members and adapt to business needs
- Prepare food according to item specifications and plan for mass productions and seasonality
- Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- Utilize digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
- Make business decisions using handheld technology related to production, ordering, receiving, training, and product quality
- Drive area performance, stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date control standards, eliminate waste
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchases and payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving issues
- Act as a brand advocate and talent ambassador promoting a respectful, supportive, team-oriented work environment
- Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards
- Complete assignments using policies, data, resources, collaborate with managers, co-workers, and customers
- Adapt to change and learn from feedback and difficulties
