The position available is for a Prepared Foods Team Member at Sam's Club, located at 7001 Gateway Blvd W, El Paso, TX. The role is dynamic and integral to the success of the prepared foods department. It involves maintaining current knowledge of product specifications and food safety standards while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The incumbent will prepare food items according to established specifications, plan for future production demands including mass and seasonal production, and ensure that food safety and sanitation guidelines are rigorously followed. A key aspect of the role involves leveraging digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales, manage inventory, process orders, and improve both member and associate experiences. The Prepared Foods Team Member also plays a vital role in inventory management – stocking, rotating products, and managing waste to ensure quality and compliance. Exceptional customer service skills are required, as the team member will address member inquiries, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve concerns effectively. In addition to operational duties, this role emphasizes being a brand ambassador who fosters a respectful and supportive team environment while engaging in continuous training and development. Working hours are compensated with an hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $25.00, with additional premiums depending on scheduling and performance. The job requires the successful completion of all relevant training and assessments, with a minimum age requirement of 18 years. Preferred qualifications include Food Safety and Food Handler certifications but are not mandatory.
