The role of a Prepared Food Team Member at Sam's Club is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced food service environment where quality and customer service are paramount. This position involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared foods, collaborating with various departments, and helping educate fellow associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Being flexible and willing to work in other business areas as needed is essential for success. The Team Member is responsible for preparing food according to specifications, planning for future and mass productions, and adhering strictly to food safety standards, including sanitation and cold chain compliance. Operational duties include managing inventory, operating and maintaining equipment, and ensuring the layout and presentation meet company guidelines.

Moreover, this role leverages technology to enhance sales, improve shopping experiences, and engage associates effectively. The Team Member uses handheld digital tools to make timely decisions about production, merchandise ordering, receiving club pickup orders, training activities, and maintaining product quality with members' best interests in mind. This position embodies ownership through driving area performance, stocking and rotating merchandise, eliminating waste, and delivering outstanding member service by addressing needs and resolving issues promptly. As a Talent Ambassador, this role promotes the Sam's Club brand by developing and inspiring others, fostering a respectful and supportive team environment while identifying and overcoming challenges to success.
