Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to complete all required job trainings and assessments within prescribed time periods
- Willingness to comply with drug-free workplace policies
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with food preparation
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and members
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or related field preferred
- Food safety certification preferred
- Food handler certification (food safety) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a flexible, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in using digital tools and technology
- Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation standards
- Customer service experience
Job Duties
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate other associates
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Prepare food according to item specifications
- Plan future productions and manage mass productions
- Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- Utilize digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
- Adapt to and encourage use of new technology
- Drive area performance including stocking, rotating merchandise, and date control standards
- Eliminate waste and provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
- Assist members with purchasing decisions, payment types, and locating merchandise
- Resolve member issues and concerns
- Serve as a brand ambassador by developing and inspiring team members
- Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards
- Collaborate with managers, co-workers, and business partners
- Identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations
- Communicate progress and suggest improvements
- Adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback
