This position is for a prepared food merchandise team member based at the Sam's Club location at 10250 Brookpark Rd, Brooklyn, OH. The role is a dynamic and vital part of the food services section, responsible for ensuring high standards in product preparation, quality, and customer satisfaction. As a team member, you will be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of food product specifications related to prepared foods and engage collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support business goals. This includes educating fellow associates, adapting to varying business needs, and communicating effectively within the team environment.

The role emphasizes expertise in food preparation, requiring adherence to strict food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. You will be tasked with planning production schedules, preparing seasonal products, operating and sanitizing equipment, and ensuring cold chain compliance to maintain product quality. Leveraging technology is also a key aspect of this position, as you will utilize digital tools and handheld devices to drive sales, manage orders, conduct training, and improve the overall shopping experience for members.

As an owner in this role, you will drive the performance of the assigned area by stocking, rotating merchandise, controlling quality and dates, and eliminating waste. You will play a critical role in member service through engagement that involves acknowledging members, assisting with purchasing decisions and payments, and resolving concerns. Acting as a talent ambassador is also essential, promoting a positive and respectful team culture, mentoring others, and supporting training efforts.

Sam's Club offers competitive wages ranging from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, with additional premiums possible based on schedule, season, or work performed.
