Job Qualifications
- Food safety certification preferred
- food service experience preferred
- food handler certification (food safety) preferred
- ability to operate and sanitize food preparation equipment
- basic understanding of inventory management
- effective communication and collaboration skills
- familiarity with digital technology and tools
- strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities
- commitment to food safety and quality standards
Job Duties
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- communicates effectively with the members of the team
- is flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas
- prepares food according to item specifications
- understands and plans future and mass productions
- prepares for seasonality
- adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution
- leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
- utilizes hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick up orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind
- adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them
- drives the performance of the area
- stocks and rotates merchandise
- ensures quality and date control standards
- eliminates waste
- provides member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs
- assists members with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, resolves member issues and concerns
- acts as a brand advocate
- develops, influences, and inspires others for working in a respectful, supportive and team oriented style
- understands roadblocks and assists in training them
- complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
