Job Description
Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, with a comprehensive platform that spans venue development and end-to-end capabilities covering venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Established in 2015, OVG has rapidly grown to manage a collection of seven world-class owned venues and provides services to iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. This impressive global footprint positions Oak View Group as a transformative force in the live entertainment industry, focused on delivering exceptional experiences through innovative venue solutions and guest services.
Oak View Group is currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Café & Starbucks Manager to lead the daily operations of two of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art’s highest-volume food and beverage outlets: the licensed Starbucks and the signature café marketplace. This critical leadership role requires a manager who can seamlessly integrate operational excellence with elevated hospitality standards to ensure every guest receives an exceptional experience. The Café & Starbucks Manager will oversee the fast-paced Starbucks operation while managing the adjacent café, working closely with culinary, museum operations, and senior food and beverage leadership teams.
The Café & Starbucks Manager will be responsible for driving superior financial performance, fostering team development, and maintaining operational compliance. This includes managing labor, payroll, scheduling, and productivity while monitoring sales, inventory control, and cost management to meet financial goals. The position offers an annual salary ranging between $70,000 and $75,000 and includes full-time employment benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, and paid time off including vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays.
This role demands a proactive leader with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. The manager will ensure the Starbucks brand standards, food safety, cleanliness, speed of service, and merchandising presentation are upheld at all times. Additionally, they will coordinate with museum operations during peak times, special events, and private functions, ensuring all health department regulations and company safety policies are strictly followed. The role supports various initiatives including opening, closing, and continuous process improvements, contributing to the overall success of the food and beverage operations at the Lucas Museum.
Beyond operational responsibilities, the Café & Starbucks Manager plays a pivotal role in hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and developing both hourly supervisors and team members, nurturing a collaborative team culture that aligns with Oak View Group’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity employment. OVG is committed to amplifying voices from diverse backgrounds and believes inclusivity drives innovation, service excellence, and outstanding people. This role offers the chance to be part of a company that not only leads its industry with a vision for change but also values creating environments reflective of the diverse communities it serves.
The Café & Starbucks Manager position will remain open until October 9, 2026, inviting qualified candidates with a passion for hospitality and a track record of managing high-volume quick-service or café operations, with Starbucks leadership experience strongly preferred, to apply and make a meaningful impact in the live entertainment and museum hospitality space.
