As a Cafe Team Member at NRG Adventure Park, you play an integral role in ensuring guests have an enjoyable and refreshing experience. This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about customer service, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The role involves preparing a variety of menu items, including pizzas, snacks, and drinks, all while adhering strictly to food safety standards to guarantee a safe dining experience for every guest. You will engage directly with guests, greeting them with positivity and energy, taking orders accurately, and using the park’s POS system to process various payment methods including cash, credit, and mobile payments. Your ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced environment effectively is essential, especially during peak times and special events.

In addition to routine duties such as restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness in the cafe and dining areas, you will assist with coordinating large orders for birthday parties and group events. This requires clear communication and teamwork to ensure food is served on time and guests’ expectations are met. Guest interaction is a significant element of this role, where providing helpful information about menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens is necessary for a high level of customer satisfaction. Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a positive, energetic attitude and take food and beverage orders
  • prepare and serve menu items according to food safety standards
  • ring up orders accurately using our POS system and handle cash, credit, and mobile payments
  • maintain a clean and organized cafe area, including counters, equipment, and dining spaces
  • restock supplies and monitor inventory levels
  • assist with large orders for birthday parties and group events
  • answer guest questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergies
  • follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
  • resolve guest concerns and escalate issues to management as needed
  • assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
  • upsell cafe specials, combos, and merchandise when appropriate
  • additional responsibilities as assigned
