The role of Cable Assembler at Enatel is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality cable products that meet stringent customer standards. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering an hourly wage between $23.00 and $26.00, commensurate with experience, skills, and training. Job Requirements
- safety-first approach
- minimum one-year experience in a manufacturing environment
- proven experience as an assembler on a production line
- good understanding of quality control principles
- good communication skills and ability to follow instructions (verbal and written)
- physically fit - may be required to lift units up to 15kg
- proficient in English, both oral and written
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- applicable tertiary qualification would be an advantage
Job Duties
- assembling cable products according to customer needs by following work instructions, samples, and other specifications
- collecting all materials and tools needed to begin the assembly process
- assuring and maintaining specified assembly quality according to work instructions
- checking incoming parts and outgoing assembly quality and reporting non-conformances in parts/product to Team Leader
- working effectively in a team environment and cooperating with co-workers
- performing functional testing
- providing backup support for charger production as required
- participating in shipping and receiving activities as necessary
- ensuring all health and safety policies and rules are followed, with all tasks completed in a safety-conscious manner
- completing any other tasks, projects, or duties as required by management from time to time
