Job Description
LifeStar Talents is a dedicated healthcare and assisted living provider known for offering compassionate, high-quality care to residents and guests. Specializing in personalized care services, LifeStar Talents is recognized for its commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for those it serves. Employees at LifeStar Talents work in a team-oriented atmosphere where professionalism and kindness are core values. The organization’s focus on exceptional customer service and operational excellence makes it a preferred employer in the healthcare and assisted living sector. With a strong emphasis on resident satisfaction and employee development, LifeStar Talents continually seeks professionals who are eager to contribute to the positive experience of both residents and their families.
The role of Server at LifeStar Talents is an integral part of the dining service team. Reporting directly to the Dining Room Manager, the Server is responsible for delivering a seamless dining experience by taking accurate food and beverage orders and serving residents and guests with courtesy and professionalism. This position demands a fast, efficient, and attentive approach in a dynamic and sometimes fast-paced environment. The Server serves not only as a service provider but also as an ambassador of the LifeStar Talents brand, ensuring all interactions reflect the organization’s high standards for customer care.
Servers play a pivotal role in enhancing the dining experience by greeting residents and guests warmly, assisting with menu selections, and addressing inquiries about food preparation and ingredients. Utilizing a Point-of-Sale (POS) system, the Server must ensure orders are communicated accurately to the kitchen. Throughout meal service, the Server monitors guests’ needs, ensuring that any special requests or concerns are promptly addressed. Additionally, the Server is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in their assigned section, preparing tables between meal services, and stocking service areas adequately.
This role is classified as safety sensitive, requiring vigilance and adherence to all safety protocols to protect both residents and staff. Physical stamina is essential, as Servers must be able to stand for extended periods, move frequently within the dining area, lift weights regularly, and work in varying temperature conditions such as freezers and grills. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary to interact effectively with residents, guests, family members, and the interdisciplinary team.
LifeStar Talents values punctuality and reliability, emphasizing that regular attendance is a critical function of this role. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a customer-focused setting and who are passionate about contributing to the comfort and well-being of others. The organization encourages candidates who have strong sanitation habits, a friendly demeanor, and a proactive approach to service to apply. Joining LifeStar Talents as a Server means becoming part of a dedicated team that prioritizes quality care, respect for residents, and excellent service delivery.
