With an emphasis on courteous and efficient service, the company prides itself on accommodating the individual tastes and needs of each resident and visitor. The organization values strong interpersonal communication and teamwork, fostering a respectful environment where residents, family members, visitors, and staff interact harmoniously. This role is classified as a safety-sensitive position, reflecting the critical importance of adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe dining environment at all times. Employment type typically involves shifts aligned with meal service times, and compensation is commensurate with experience and industry standards.

The Server position reporting directly to the Dining Room Manager is central to the overall dining experience offered by the company. The server is entrusted with the vital responsibility of taking food and drink orders, serving meals, and providing attentive, friendly service in an assigned section of the dining room. This role requires a fast-paced, courteous approach to servicing residents and guests, ensuring that their meal experience is pleasant and meets the company’s standards for service quality. Beyond order taking and serving, the server is expected to possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu to confidently answer questions, describe dishes, explain preparation methods, and recommend selections. Accuracy in inputting orders into the Point-of-Sale system is essential for the smooth operation of kitchen and dining services.

Additionally, the server is tasked with maintaining cleanliness and order in their section, including resetting tables, stocking supplies, and performing cleanup duties after service. This contributes to an inviting ambiance and seamless transition between meal services. The nature of the role demands significant physical stamina, including the ability to stand for entire shifts, maneuver within a dynamic environment, and lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally. Effective communication skills in English are necessary for clear interaction with residents, guests, and colleagues. The position also involves compliance with safety regulations and participation in background screening as mandated by state guidelines.

The role encapsulates a balance of interpersonal skills, physical capability, and a commitment to service excellence, making it a rewarding opportunity for individuals who thrive in customer-focused hospitality settings.
