Typhoon Texas is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cabana Servers to join their dynamic team. This is a customer-facing role focusing on providing premium-level service to guests using the cabana amenities. The primary responsibility of a Cabana Server is to ensure guests receive fast, efficient, and friendly service, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the park's Texas-friendly spirit. Servers will take food and drink orders, maintain cleanliness of assigned cabanas, and be well-informed about the park’s menus and policies. They must possess a solid knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including specialty drinks and alcoholic selections, and comply with all health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
This role requires physical stamina as shifts may involve standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Job Requirements
- May be required to stand for long periods of time
- may be required to lift at least 20-50 lbs
- may be required to be exposed to direct sunlight, hot temperatures, or rain
- must be able to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
- must be able to work well with others
- must be able to communicate effectively
- must follow all Typhoon Texas guidelines or policies
- must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit or TABC certification
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- must be open and willing to learn new things

- must follow all health department, TABC, city and county alcohol requirements and maintain a clean working environment
- understands and supports the Typhoon Texas culture
- uses excellent judgement
- identifies problems and works quickly to find solutions
- works effectively with others on all levels in a positive and professional manner
- has excellent communication skills including clear, concise, and grammatically correct written and oral language
Job Duties
- Greet all guests with enthusiasm and a smile
- greet and escort guests to their designated cabana
- power wash and reset assigned cabana section
- maintain proper daily and weekly deep clean of assigned cabana section
- provide excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction
- take guest orders and deliver food and beverages
- operate the register and Point of Sale system
- deliver checks and take forms of payment quickly and accurately
- knowledgeable on all menu items, specialty cocktails, beer, and all liquor offered
- able to assemble menu items and serve to guests
- complete daily restock tasks assigned by leadership
- ID all guests that look under the age of 35
