The Server position at Pegasus Senior Living plays a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience of residents in their senior living facilities. Servers are responsible for preparing and serving food items to residents within scheduled time frames, ensuring the dining areas are maintained in a clean and hygienic state, and providing friendly, respectful service that respects the dignity and preferences of each resident.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year experience in hospitality or related field
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Good physical health to perform duties
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • Must be able to work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year relevant experience in hospitality, full-service or senior living preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrates good judgment and problem solving skills
  • Experience in food preparation and serving is desirable
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness in food service areas
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items and serve food to residents within scheduled time frame
  • Clean and maintain food service areas including kitchen and dining room
  • Communicate effectively in English with residents and staff both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Provide friendly, respectful service to senior residents
