PSL operates a network of senior living communities offering a range of services designed to meet the diverse needs of older adults, including assisted living, memory care, and independent living options. The company commits to creating vibrant, safe, and engaging environments where seniors can thrive physically, mentally, and socially. By investing in employee development, benefits, and workplace flexibility, Pegasus Senior Living maintains its status as a preferred employer within the healthcare and senior care sectors.
The Housekeeper role at Pegasus Senior Living is a vital position that directly impacts the comfort and quality of life of residents. This role involves ensuring that the senior living building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, creating an environment that feels like home for seniors. Housekeepers work closely with other team members to uphold cleanliness protocols and contribute to an atmosphere of warmth and care.
Housekeepers at PSL enjoy flexible scheduling options including full-time and part-time arrangements, allowing for a work-life balance that respects personal commitments. With same-day pay options and a competitive salary ranging from $17.00 to $19.50 per hour based on experience and qualifications, this role offers financial stability as well as job satisfaction.
Beyond compensation, PSL provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees, a 401(k) with matching contributions, employee assistance programs, paid time off of up to 20 days annually, and access to exclusive discounts and perks through HR Partners. Employees can also benefit from career development programs, continued education reimbursements, and a culture that encourages mentorship and advancement probability. The PSL Cares Program is particularly notable for offering financial support to employees facing health-related issues.
The expectation for this role includes physical capabilities such as climbing, bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, crawling, pushing, reaching, carrying, and standing for extended periods, with occasional requirements to move furniture. Prior experience in hospitality, hotels, or senior living environments—at least one year—is preferred, underscoring the importance of familiarity with maintaining cleanliness standards in settings that demand attention to detail and a respectful approach to residents.
