These operations enable Live Nation Media & Sponsorship to create strategic music marketing programs that connect more than 1,200 sponsors with 145 million fans who attend Live Nation events annually. Established as an industry leader, Live Nation is committed to delivering unparalleled live experiences for fans and partners alike by maintaining innovation, excellence, and a collaborative culture.
The Associate Manager – Food & Beverage plays a critical role within Live Nation's C3 Presents event portfolio. This position supports the strategic planning, development, and execution of food, beverage, and craft market operations across various music festivals and live events. Reporting to the Senior Food & Beverage Manager, the Associate Manager contributes significantly to revenue-generating activities by managing vendor relations, ensuring operational excellence, and enhancing guest experiences. This role involves considerable autonomy and responsibility, requiring independent judgement in vendor selection, operational planning, compliance management, and problem resolution. The Associate Manager leads operational activities during assigned events, making real-time decisions to optimize service levels, manage staffing, and enforce business objectives.
The role’s core responsibilities include partnering on strategic operational plans to align food and beverage offerings with organizational goals such as financial performance and guest satisfaction. The incumbent evaluates vendor and operational performance to identify opportunities for service improvements and profitability. Collaboration is essential, as the Associate Manager participates in cross-functional event planning meetings to align resources and execution strategies.
Vendor management is a key focus, involving recruitment, evaluation, onboarding, and ongoing communication with vendors to curate a compelling and high-quality market that meets guest demand and supports revenue objectives. The Associate Manager negotiates requirements with vendors and ensures compliance with contractual and operational standards. Operational management duties include overseeing vendor programs, coordinating logistical needs such as credentialing and equipment allocation, and providing leadership to staff and vendors to ensure consistent adherence to event standards.
Financial analysis is also integral to the role, with responsibilities including analyzing sales data, location performance, and guest trends to recommend vendor participation and operational enhancements. The Associate Manager assists in forecasting and budgeting related to food and beverage vendor operations and prepares comprehensive reports summarizing performance metrics and strategic insights.
Ensuring compliance and managing risks related to health, safety, permits, contracts, and local regulations are also vital aspects of the position. The candidate must navigate complex regulatory environments to uphold organizational policies and mitigate business risks.
Collaboration extends to marketing and stakeholder engagement, supporting initiatives to strengthen vendor partnerships and enhance guest engagement through promotional opportunities and digital marketing programs. The role demands adaptability, flexibility in work hours including event weekends and travel availability.
Live Nation is dedicated to an inclusive, equitable, and supportive workplace, promoting a culture of integrity, professionalism, and continuous growth. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a dynamic work environment centered on innovation and excellence in live entertainment.
