The Plumbing Manager role at Ace Hardware Home Services represents an exciting leadership opportunity within the growing plumbing division. This position is responsible for building and leading a team of skilled plumbers, managing day-to-day operations for residential and light commercial plumbing services. The Plumbing Manager will oversee staffing, scheduling, technical support, quality control, safety protocols, and customer satisfaction initiatives. They serve as a critical partner to the General Manager and other division leaders to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable operations. Additionally, this role manages budgets, revenue, and margins for the plumbing department, reviewing work orders and invoices to optimize job profitability.

The ideal candidate is an experienced and licensed Journeyman Plumber with over five years of management experience in plumbing services. Strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to coach and hold teams accountable are essential. This role also involves collaboration with HVAC service teams for cross-selling opportunities and coordinating larger projects from planning to completion. Physical capabilities to handle plumbing work conditions are necessary, including lifting, standing, and working in varied environments.
