The Busser/Runner position at Red Lobster plays a critical role in maintaining the high standards of service expected by guests. This role involves greeting guests warmly, preparing the workstation, and ensuring tables are properly set with utensils and condiments. The Busser/Runner assists with refilling drinks, clearing used dishes and glassware, and delivering hot food from the kitchen to the dining area. Support is also provided to servers as needed, ensuring smooth and efficient service flow. The role requires adherence to all food safety and cleanliness protocols, proper clearing and resetting of tables, and ensuring that the dining environment is clean and welcoming. Physical demands include bending, reaching, stooping, and safely lifting up to 30 pounds, as well as the ability to stand for long periods during shifts that can last 8 to 12 hours. Job Requirements
- Meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
- ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a busser or runner role preferred
- understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Greet each guest at the restaurant with a smile
- prepare the station for the shift
- ensure utensils and condiments are on the table
- refill beverages and clear used dishes and glassware
- bring hot food to guests when ready in the hallway
- provide assistance to servers with guests as needed
- follow all food safety and sanitation rules
- clear dishes from tables, reset tables, clean seats and floors
- communicate table availability
- sort items in the dishwashing area
