With over fifty years of experience and a presence of more than 500 restaurants, Red Lobster has built a reputation for serving memorable meals and creating welcoming environments for guests. The brand prides itself on being more than just a dining destination; it is an integral part of the communities it serves, fostering relationships where new acquaintances soon become familiar faces. Red Lobster offers customers not only delicious seafood but also a warm and inviting hospitality experience that keeps guests coming back. As a leader in the casual dining industry, Red Lobster upholds a commitment to quality and service that honors its foundational values and continuously strives to innovate and grow.
Working at Red Lobster means being part of a team dedicated to providing excellent service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and enhancing the guest dining experience. The company emphasizes employee growth and advancement by providing training and career opportunities. Employees benefit from competitive wages with weekly pay and flexible scheduling to accommodate diverse needs. Additional perks include affordable medical, dental, and vision plans starting at less than $10 per week, as well as life insurance, short-term disability, and a variety of voluntary benefits. A 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company match is available after one year of service, along with anniversary pay for eligible team members. Employees also enjoy discounted shift meals and a 25% discount when dining as guests.
The Busser/Runner position at Red Lobster is vital to the restaurant's overall operation and guest satisfaction. This role involves welcoming guests warmly, preparing stations for service, ensuring tables are fully set with silverware and condiments, and refilling drinks. The busser/runner supports servers by running hot food promptly and helping with guest requests. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards are critical duties, including clearing and resetting tables, cleaning seats and floors, and managing dish area tasks. The position requires physical stamina to move around the restaurant and remain on foot throughout shifts typically lasting between 8 to 12 hours. Candidates must be able to safely lift up to 30 pounds and have a keen eye for detail to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

It ensures equal employment opportunities for all applicants and employees regardless of age, race, gender identity, or other protected categories. The company is excited about its future plans and invites motivated individuals to join the Red Lobster family to grow their careers in a supportive and dynamic environment. If you're passionate about delivering great service and enjoy working in a collaborative, community-oriented setting, this role offers a rewarding experience with plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and advance within the restaurant industry.
