The responsibilities of a Busser/Runner encompass a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing guest satisfaction and supporting the servers. This includes welcoming guests warmly, setting up the station for shifts, ensuring tables are properly stocked with silverware and condiments, refilling drinks, pre-bussing tables, and promptly delivering hot food to guests. Additionally, you will assist servers as needed, maintain cleanliness and food safety standards, clear and reset tables efficiently, communicate table readiness, and handle the breakdown of items in the dish area. - Welcoming every guest into our restaurant with a smile
- Setting up station for the shift
- Ensuring silverware and condiments are on the table
- Refilling drinks and pre-bussing
- Running hot food to guests when ready in alley
- Providing guest support for servers as needed
- Following all food safety and cleanliness standards
- Clearing dishes from tables, resetting table, and cleaning seats and floors
- Communicating table readiness
- Breaking down items in the dish area
