Flexible scheduling accommodates diverse lifestyles and helps maintain a healthy work-life balance. Benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance are available starting at less than ten dollars per week, alongside life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits to support employee well-being. A 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company match is offered after one year of service, highlighting Red Lobster's commitment to long-term employee security. The company is dedicated to personal and professional development by providing comprehensive training and opportunities for career advancement.

The Busser/Runner role at Red Lobster is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the dining room and delivering excellent customer service. This position involves welcoming guests with a friendly smile, setting up dining stations before shifts, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant. They also assist servers as needed, helping enhance guest satisfaction and contribute to a seamless dining flow. Duties include clearing and resetting tables, cleaning seats and floors, breaking down items in the dishwashing area, and communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure tables are ready for new guests.

Physical stamina and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Employees must be able to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds safely while standing and moving throughout the restaurant for shifts that can last from 8 to 12 hours. Teamwork, the ability to multi-task, and a positive attitude are highly valued traits. Red Lobster emphasizes that reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties, reflecting the company’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity.

Joining Red Lobster means becoming part of a forward-looking team with exciting plans for growth and innovation. The company takes pride in creating a supportive and welcoming environment for all employees regardless of age, race, sex, religion, or other personal characteristics. This dedication to diversity and equality further enriches the work culture, making Red Lobster not only a great place to eat but also a great place to work.
