The Busser/Runner position at Red Lobster is a crucial role that directly impacts the guest experience by ensuring cleanliness, timely service, and overall hospitality. Duties include welcoming guests with a friendly smile, preparing the station at the start of shifts, and making sure every table is stocked with silverware and condiments. The Busser/Runner is also responsible for refilling drinks, pre-bussing tables, and running hot food from the kitchen to guests efficiently and safely. They assist servers by providing excellent guest support and contribute to maintaining strict food safety and cleanliness standards throughout the dining area. Responsibilities also extend to clearing dishes, resetting tables, cleaning seats and floors, communicating table readiness, and breaking down items in the dish area.

Success in this physically demanding role requires the ability to perform tasks such as bending, reaching, stooping, lifting up to 30 pounds safely, and standing or moving around the restaurant for 8 to 12 hours per shift.
