The role open at PopStroke offers an incredible opportunity for those passionate about customer service and hospitality within a lively, fast-paced restaurant and entertainment environment. This position is hourly and non-exempt, offering the potential for tips on top of the hourly wage. Employees will be integral to supporting both restaurant and bar operations, helping maintain cleanliness, assisting guests, and ensuring smooth food and beverage service throughout the venue. Responsibilities also include utilizing technology for mobile ordering assistance and contributing to seamless daily operations and teamwork.

This role requires a proactive, flexible individual who enjoys working both indoors and outdoors, collaborating with fellow team members to create an enjoyable, safe, and polished environment for patrons. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to provide outstanding guest service are key to thriving in this role. Working weekends and holidays is necessary to meet the demands of the restaurant’s schedule and deliver reliable service during peak times.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel and reach for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 lbs
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays and multiple plates from the kitchen to tables
  • Must be able to safely use a ladder

Job Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience in a high-volume environment
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills

Job Duties

  • Support the restaurant and bar operations
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables, refill beverages, and polish silverware
  • Assist guests with PopStroke mobile ordering app
  • Run food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner, ensuring great customer service, accuracy and presentation standards are met
  • Accurately utilize technology to efficiently complete food pick up and drop off service
  • Ensure cleanliness of all restaurant areas, including the gaming area and restrooms
  • Restock service stations and restrooms
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures by cleaning and/or stacking chairs and tables, sweeping floors, setting up outdoor furniture and removing trash
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, responding promptly to requests
  • Uphold safety and sanitation principles at all times
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and seamless service
  • Work in both an indoor and outdoor environment
  • Other duties as assigned
