The role at PopStroke is an integral part of maintaining this lively atmosphere and excellent guest service. As a team member in this position, you will support restaurant and bar operations, helping create a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests. Tasks include clearing and resetting tables, assisting guests with mobile ordering technology, delivering food orders promptly and accurately, and ensuring cleanliness and organization in all areas, including the dining, gaming, and restroom spaces. The role demands attention to detail, a friendly and attentive attitude toward guests, and close collaboration with other team members to provide efficient service.
This position is non-exempt with an hourly pay rate plus tips, appealing to individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment and enjoy working as part of a cohesive team. Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel and reach for long periods of time
- must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 lbs
- must be able to lift and carry heavy trays and multiple plates from the kitchen to tables
- must be able to safely use a ladder
Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience in a high-volume environment
- strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team
- must be available to work weekends and holidays
- excellent communication and guest service skills
Job Duties
- Support the restaurant and bar operations
- clear, clean, and reset tables, refill beverages, and polish silverware
- assist guests with PopStroke mobile ordering app
- run food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner, ensuring great customer service, accuracy and presentation standards are met
- utilize technology to efficiently complete food pick up and drop off service
- ensure cleanliness of all restaurant areas, including gaming and restrooms
- restock service stations and restrooms
- assist with opening and closing procedures by cleaning and stacking chairs and tables, sweeping floors, setting up outdoor furniture, and removing trash
- provide friendly and attentive service to guests, responding promptly to requests
- uphold safety and sanitation principles at all times
- collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and seamless service
- work in both indoor and outdoor environments
- perform other duties as assigned
