The role of a Team Member at PopStroke is essential to maintaining the high-quality guest experience that the brand promises. This position is non-exempt and hourly plus tips, welcoming those who thrive in a fast-paced and positive setting. Team members support all aspects of restaurant and bar operations, ensuring that every guest interaction is special and that the venue remains clean, organized, and welcoming. Duties include clearing and resetting tables, assisting guests with the PopStroke mobile ordering app, running food orders from the kitchen to the tables with speed and accuracy, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards throughout the space, including gaming areas and restrooms.
In this role, teamwork and excellent communication skills are critical. Team members work together to ensure that service is seamless and that all guest needs are met promptly and with a friendly attitude. They assist in opening and closing responsibilities such as cleaning, arranging furniture, and restocking supplies. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to move between indoor and outdoor sections of the venue while maintaining a positive and energetic demeanor throughout long shifts. Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel and reach for long periods of time
- must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 lbs
- must be able to lift and carry heavy trays and multiple plates from kitchen to tables
- must be able to safely use a ladder
- authorization to work in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience in a high-volume environment
- strong work ethic
- willingness to work as part of a team
- must be available to work weekends and holidays
- excellent communication and guest service skills
Job Duties
- Support the restaurant and bar operations
- clear, clean, and reset tables
- refill beverages
- polish silverware
- assist guests with PopStroke mobile ordering app
- run food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner ensuring great customer service, accuracy and presentation standards
- utilize technology to complete food pick up and drop off service
- ensure cleanliness of all restaurant areas including gaming area and restrooms
- restock service stations and restrooms
- assist with opening and closing procedures by cleaning, stacking chairs and tables, sweeping floors, setting up outdoor furniture and removing trash
- provide friendly and attentive service to guests responding promptly to requests
- uphold safety and sanitation principles
- collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and seamless service
- work in both indoor and outdoor environments
- perform other duties as assigned
