This role is for a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster, a crucial position within the restaurant team responsible for maintaining a comfortable, clean, and efficient dining atmosphere. Key responsibilities include greeting guests with a friendly smile, preparing the station for each shift, ensuring that tables are set with proper utensils and condiments, refilling beverages, and clearing used dishes and glassware. The Busser/Runner also delivers hot food to customers when it is ready in the kitchen, supports servers as needed, and adheres to all food safety and cleanliness regulations. Additional duties involve resetting tables promptly by removing dishes, cleaning seats and floors, communicating table availability, and organizing items in the dishwashing area. This role requires standing for extended periods during shifts of 8 to 12 hours, the ability to safely lift up to 30 pounds, and teamwork skills with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities. Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirements and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capability to stand for an 8- to 12-hour shift
  • Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking ability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Basic knowledge of food safety and cleanliness standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds safely

Job Duties

  • Greet each guest at the restaurant with a smile
  • Prepare the station for the shift
