Red Lobster is currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Bussers/Runners. The Busser/Runner role involves a combination of guest interaction, restaurant upkeep, and teamwork. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, setting up stations for shifts, managing silverware and condiments on tables, refilling drinks, and assisting servers by running hot food from the kitchen. Bussers/runners are also responsible for pre-bussing tables, clearing dishes, resetting tables efficiently, cleaning seats and floors, and ensuring compliance with food safety and cleanliness standards. This dynamic role requires individuals who can multitask effectively, pay close attention to detail, and work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is necessary as the job involves standing for extended periods and safely lifting up to 30 pounds.

Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Must comply with all food safety and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is a plus
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to follow all safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Welcoming every guest into our restaurant with a smile
  • Setting up station for the shift
  • Ensuring silverware and condiments are on the table
  • Refilling drinks and pre-bussing
  • Running hot food to guests when ready in alley
  • Providing guest support for servers as needed
  • Following all food safety and cleanliness standards
  • Clearing dishes from tables, resetting table, and cleaning seats and floors
