The role being offered is for a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster, a position essential to creating a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for guests. This role is hourly and offers a competitive pay range of USD $16.90 to USD $25.00 per hour. As a Busser/Runner, you will be the welcoming face guests see when entering the restaurant, greeting them warmly and ensuring their immediate surroundings are prepared and maintained to the highest standards. You will be responsible for setting up your station for each shift, ensuring all tables are properly stocked with silverware and condiments. Your role includes pre-bussing tables, refilling drinks, running hot food to guests promptly, and supporting servers in creating a smooth dining service.
Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards is critical in this position. You will clear dishes, reset tables, clean seats and floors, and communicate table readiness to the team. In addition, you will assist in breaking down items in the dish area at the end of shifts. Physically, this role requires the ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 30 pounds safely, and stay active on your feet for shifts typically lasting 8 to 12 hours.
