Currently hiring for the role of Busser/Runner, Red Lobster offers a position that is vital in ensuring excellent customer service and a smooth dining operation. The Busser/Runner is responsible for receiving guests warmly, preparing stations for service, maintaining table settings including condiments and cutlery, refilling drinks, and clearing used dishes and glassware. This role also involves delivering hot food to customers, assisting servers as needed, and complying strictly with food safety and cleanliness standards. Additional duties include removing dishes, resetting tables, cleaning seating and floors, communicating table availability, and sorting items in the dishwashing area.

Physical demands of the job require the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely carry up to 30 pounds, as well as standing for an entire shift that can last between 8 to 12 hours. Applicants must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States. Attention to detail, multitasking skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are critical to success in this position. Job Duties

  • Receive each customer at our restaurant with a smile
  • Prepare the station for the shift
  • Ensure cutlery and condiments are on the table
  • Refill drinks and remove used dishes and glassware
  • Carry hot food to customers when ready in the hallway
  • Provide assistance to servers with customers as needed
  • Follow all food safety and cleanliness standards
  • Remove dishes from tables, reset the table, and clean seats and floors
  • Communicate table availability
